Taxes can be overwhemling, and we understand that! Come hear from Jeff, a partner at Brown Edwards, as he gives a great overview into taxes, when they are charges, and how to prepare your books so they are accountant ready!
Jeff is a partner in the Harrisonburg office of Brown Edwards. He specializes in accounting, taxation and various consulting services for a wide variety of clientele, including cooperatives, partnerships, real estate developers, engineering firms, closely-held businesses and private foundations. Jeff’s extensive experience enables him to provide clients with valuable financial guidance tailored to meet their specific needs.
Jeff received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bob Jones University in 1991, and his Masters of Science in Counseling from Bob Jones University in 1993. He serves on the Advisory Council of the JMU Small Business Development Center, is a member of the Fort Harrison Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, and
chairs the Finance Committee of his local church. He has completed the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and is active in various
Chamber events. He is a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Tax Practice Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is licensed in Virginia.
Jeff has completed the AICPA National Tax Education Program at the University of Illinois. Jeff’s professional experience and counseling training enable him to convey his expertise in an understandable, useful manner. He also presents tax seminars to the local small business community and other CPAs.
