Financial Literacy Classes held will be helo on Saturday, March 17, 2018 with the second class session on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Both classes are from 8 am -12 pm at the United Way office in Fishersville and are taught through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity by a Certified Financial Counselor. Through this program, eligible individuals will have the opportunity to participate in a 2-part financial literacy class.
Prior to attending the first class, participating individuals will receive a workbook and are expected to have read the first section (about the first 20 pages) of the student workbook, and to have considered/answered the questions posed in the material in order to fully engage in classroom discussion.
