Meet The Fund

We build community, provide support, and enable access to capital.

The Staunton Creative Community Fund’s purpose is to create the neighborhoods in which people want to live in. We do this by helping entrepreneurs cultivate their dreams of owning or expanding a small business. We act as a local hub for entrepreneurial innovation, by bringing together the talent, creativity, information, funding, & resources to grow a vibrant local economy.

Starting a business is challenging. The Fund helps local entrepreneurs navigate the pitfalls, detours, highs, and lows of starting or expanding a small business. In a world of cold calculations and high-interest loans, we are a safe place for dreamers and schemers to imagine the possibilities, ask questions, and get the funding they need in order to succeed. We are your team.

Join our community by participating in the hOUR economy, attending one of our events, or seeing how we collaborate with our community partners.  Get support by receiving one-one-counseling, taking a class, connecting with a mentor, participating in our Taste Local network, or learning about our non-profit incubation services. Access capital through our loan funds, our Invest Local network, and through our match-savings VIDA (Virginia Individual Development Accounts) program.
